The Families First Coronavirus Act (FFCRA or ACT) requires school districts to provide their employees with paid sick leave or expanded family and medical leave for specified reasons related to COVID-19.  The Department of Labor’s (Department) Wage and Hour Division (WHD) administers and enforces the nwe law’s paid leave requirements.  These provisions will apply fro mthe effective date through December 31, 2020.

Leave benefits under the FFCRA apply for the limited time period of April 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020.  The amount of paid leave an employee may receive will vary depending on the reason leave is taken.  Detailed information is available in the Employee Rights notice above.

An employee requesting emergency paid sick leave and expanded family and meical leave must complete theis form and return it to the GISD Human Resources Department.  We are located on 400 Third Street, Graham, Texas  76450 or you may email to robert.loomis@grahamisd.com as soon as the need is identified.  Documentation supporting the leed for leave should be included when the request is submitted.
