• Wired Learning through AT&T Education - Wired Learning refers to the lessons, curriculum, WebQuests, and other materials that the KNE Application Design Team developed as part of the AT&T Knowledge Network Explorer. Our mission is to support teachers and librarians achieve meaningful, technology-infused learning environments. To best understand the classification system below, you can read a brief definition of formats. You can even use our free tool, Filamentality, to build some of these formats yourself!
• Interactive Math Activities - this site, well-known for its offering of interactive math activities, has created a toolkit page with links to over 50 explorers, games, and quizzes in which students can tailor their activity by problem type, level, and time to solve. In addition, these assessment tools will keep track of the score for progress-monitoring.
• United Nations Information - This website has a lot of multimedia for teachers. These PDF, PowerPoint, and Word maps and flags are free to download and use, and are based on government data and satellite maps. There are 191 countries, the entire UN membership is represented.
• Texas Parks & Wildlife Loaner Trunks - These trunks are available for loan to formal and informal educators and youth leaders. Each one contains activities and materials appropriate for multiple age level groups.
