Graham, Texas is located in the great state of Texas in what is known as the heart of "Lake Country" 75 miles northwest of Fort Worth and 70 miles south of Wichita Falls. Nestled between Possum Kingdom Lake, the Brazos River, Lake Graham, and Lake Eddleman, Graham is home to some of the most scenic and beautiful landscape the North Texas Hill Country has to offer.
With approximately 2,500 students and 335 of the most committed and caring professional educators in the world, Graham ISD is a fantastic school district with a tradition of academic and extra-curricular success. Graham ISD is composed of three elementary schools, a Junior High School, High School, Graham Education and Workforce Center, and the Graham Learning Center--an alternative high school. Known for its innovative and cutting edge educational practices, Graham ISD is blessed with tremendous community support for public education. Graham ISD has undergone a huge makeover during the past ten years with over $50 million dollars of facility improvements including a new elementary school, complete renovations of two elementary schools, and renovations at the junior high school including a new competition level gymnasium, a new maintenance and transportation facility, and voters approved a $30 million dollar bond for additions and renovations to Graham High School in May 2007.
